[Eaa42-list] FCC Bans 121.5 ELTs

Hi,
I just believe that there should be the *option* of not having to buy a 406
*IF there is a SatPhone or an PLB or the like*: Also I think its bad that
ELT's are required to be Mounted instead of being carried on the person,
which is what I belive in and do.
*No question ELT 121.50 is STONE AGE, but there should be a choice.*
We should maybe keep "ehotline <ehotline at eaa.org>, govt at eaa.org" out of this
discussion in the future, I bet they are being bombarded with emails every
day on this and more...
