RV-6 project
RV-6 project. not a quick build, but wings, fuselage and empennage completed by professional builders who were recommended by Vans Aircraft. brand new experimental IO-360 with forward facing lycoming sump. One piece top skins on wings,beefed up tail section, tighter spacing on rivets thru-out, skin glued to ribs, extra fuel, almost 20 gallons (estimated), sitting on gear with engine mount installed. wings and tail feathers need to be fitted. have finishing kit. interior,instruments prop and governer still needed. this is all new as of april 07 when I brought it up the Alcan. 60k firm. Wanted - Pacer Pieces
I have been asked to look for two complete Pacers or Tripacers. These can be in any condition or disassembled. Engines can be run out. Some damage is OK but all parts must be repairable. These will be packed in to a Sealand container and shipped to Russia next summer. Spare parts and raw materials like chromemoly and fabric will be included in the Shipment. Various For Sale Items Rumors
May 2008During the Fedex show a number of folks that I spoke to had projects to sell, or knew of projects for sale. I wrote down the details and maybe if anyone of our members are interested they may obtain a project.
A guy John 632-4850 told me of a neighbour with an 0470, Pa20/22 project for sale.
A guy, very keen to sell a near complete RAF 2000 with a subaru engine. Its shrink wrapped in plastic stored outside at Merrill Field. I do not have a name or number but if you find a shrink wrapped gyro copter at Merril I bet you could leave a note.
Chris Bulard - Building an Avid Heavy Hauler looking for a ride in something similar and would appreciate any contact with builders of like or same aircraft. He can be contacted on 360-7306.
